Christian’s journey began when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after graduating high school. Following his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Christian continued serving society by joining the City of Springfield Police Department. Christian received a commendation in 2003 for facing off with an armed robber carrying a loaded shotgun and taking him into custody after a peaceful surrender. Recognizing the transformative power of finance and its potential to effect positive change, he decided to transition into the world of investments.
Christian found his niche in wood pellet commodities markets and was one of industries founders seeing the market grow from 750,000 tons of wood pellets produced per year to 65 million tons of wood pellets produced per year and growing. renewable energy markets and recycling markets leveraging his experience into a position with a Wall Street firm. With his analytical acumen and understanding of complex financial systems, he successfully developed more than $100M projects. Working with institutional investors, publicly traded companies, and private equity firms, Christian played a vital role in helping his clients capitalize on emerging opportunities and make informed investment decisions.
His work in the renewable energy and recycling markets allowed Christian to contribute to sustainable development and the transition to a greener future. Christian was a co-founding partner of Abundia Financial, a Wall Street Private Equity Firm specializing in recycling technologies, renewable energy, and commodities. AF is currently developing over $500M in renewable energy and recycling projects in the US and Europe.
